Best fit for you: dresses

Holaa holaa! first I want to say Happy Thanksgiving to all that celebrate it and second I'm sorry that I haven't been posting my computer broke the day before thanksgiving , I was so upset I wanted to show you my thanksgiving outfit but don't worry I have been taking pictures everyday. I soon as my laptop is fixed I will start posting my daily outfits again. Meanwhile, I found dresses that best fit your body type. I was thinking that I should first start with dresses because I think it should be a basic piece for your closet, you can turn it into daytime or night outfit.



Dress for a Triangle

  •           Details on chest, shoulder, and neck
  •           Flair skirt
  •           Belted waist or defined

-Keep in mind: you want to divert the eye from looking down and bring on the details on top to balance your body. You want to show off your lovely shoulders






Dress for an Inverted triangle 
  • Simple top like a V-neck or scoop
  • Details on the bottom such as ruffles, pleats or peplum cut.
-Keep in mind: you want to balance your hips from your upper half and soften up your broad shoulders.








 
 
 Dress for a rectangle
 
  •       Pattern dresses
  •       Belt waist or defined
  •       Details on top and bottom

-Keep in mind: you want to defined your upper and lower.


Dress for an hourglass
 
  • Sweetheart neckline or bustier
  • Pleated skirt if you want to avoid your hips
  • Nipped on the waist

-Keep in mind: show your best assets, your waist and legs.









Dress for a round body type
 
  •         Details on chest, neck, and shoulders
  •         Trapeze cut

-Keep in mind: you want details on top to distract from your midsection and bottom.
 






This is a reference sheet that I did for myself it comes in handy whenever I have to do a style consultation.
